Are you covered by insurance?
Yes, I am a Veteran’s Administration massage therapy provider. You must first have a referral from your private care physician before making an appointment.
My treatments can be covered under other forms of healthcare insurance packages. I do not offer direct billing. You pay Forney Massage Therapy directly after each massage and an electronic receipt will be provided for you to submit to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.
What are my payment options?
We accept cash, debit, all major credit cards including HSA/FSA.
Do you treat children?
I do not but will happily recommend. colleague.
Do you offer prenatal massage?
I do not but I can recommend a colleague that specializes in both pre- and post natal massage.
Do I have to remove all of my clothing?
No, your comfort is my utmost priority. I treat clients nude (but properly draped) to fully or partially dressed. I will work with you to accommodate any needs or concerns you may have regarding draping and body positioning to always ensure you will feel safe and secure.
Does massage hurt?
Your massage doesn’t have to hurt to be effective. If you experience any pain or discomfort during your session please tell your therapist. They are always happy to stop or modify your treatment to suit your needs.
I’m sick, should I keep my appointment?
If you feel sick you must cancel your appointment especially If you have a fever. Your massage will be safer and more enjoyable once you feel better. Please note that our 24 hour cancellation policy still applies in the event of illness or an emergency.
I want to bring my friend/family/partner/child can they wait inside during my treatment?
Only those scheduled to receive treatment can be accommodated.
What if I arrive early?
As we may be with a client we asked that you arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your appointment .
I have nut allergies are your creams, lotions and oils nut free?
Yes, all of our oils, lotions and creams are nut free , hypoallergenic and organic. We also do not use lavender essential oils as many people are allergic.
